In May of 1994, Jagger Griffen realized his childhood dream of becoming a chef and graduated from the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. Upon graduation, Jagger headed west and immediately landed a job working for award-winning Chef Christopher Gross at Christopher’s in Phoenix. Jagger held various positions at this four-star restaurant including Sous Chef and Lead Saucier. He also worked all of the exclusive promotional events including “A Dinner with Paul Bocuse” and James Beard house in New York.
After traveling for a year, Jagger returned to the valley and started as Eddie Matney’s Sous Chef and was quickly promoted to Chef de Cuisine of the entire operation. In 2001, Jagger was named Executive Chef of Furio Restaurant and Bario in Old Town Scottsdale.
