"A Taste Of Art ArtWalk"
Coming to Scottsdale Downtown March 18, 2004
SCOTTSDALE,
Ariz. - (February 9, 2004) Jumpstart your appetite for art!
A feast for the eyes and the palate is just a starlit evening away as
"A Taste of Art ArtWalk" is kicking off the 26th Annual
Scottsdale Culinary Festival early this year. On Thursday, March 18,
2004 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm The Scottsdale Culinary Festival joins
forces with the Scottsdale Gallery Association to bring downtown
Scottsdale an ArtWalk like none other.
Gallery show openings,
artists' receptions and a host of food sampling stations will flood
the Scottsdale art district providing a seemingly endless wonderland
for food and art connoisseurs alike. This inaugural special event is
a precursor to April's Scottsdale Culinary Festival and what a better
way to begin to rev up your taste buds. Bring a date or the whole family
to stroll the streets for a lovely evening of fine art and world-class
fare.
Be there as dozens of the Southwest's greatest art galleries open to
the public as they host multiple opening receptions featuring premiere
artists from all over the U.S., including the winning artist for the
2004 Scottsdale Culinary Festival, Jenny Foster. Top artwork of all
styles will be showcased in a variety of media.
There are plenty of nearby free parking areas, and easy access to local
hotels or famed Scottsdale eateries. The event is free of charge and
takes place along Main Street, Marshall Way and surrounding Scottsdale
Downtown. So bring your appetite for culture and cuisine, and stroll
in for "A Taste of Art."

This is a fun way to become involved in your community and expand your
knowledge in the art and culinary fields.
The Scottsdale League for the Arts (SLA) contributes to several Valley
organizations, including the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, the Arts
in Education Council, and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
SLA is a non-profit volunteer organization made up of concerned and
caring individuals who invest their time and effort to raise funds for
the arts and art education programs.
SLA is looking for
positive and motivated people to volunteer at the Scottsdale Culinary
Festival. It's a wonderful way to get involved in the community and
