(Scottsdale, AZ - July 14, 2004) - Let your imagination run wild! Get your paintbrush out and sharpen those pencils as the Scottsdale Culinary Festival is searching for this year's poster artist. One winner's original artwork will showcase the celebration of this year's 27th Annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival, April 13th -17th 2005.
Whether your passion is oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, collage, graphic art, drawings/mixed media or photography; we want to see your creation. If selected your piece will be the heart of the festival and must reproduce well and be saleable as dining room/kitchen art.
The Scottsdale League for the Arts will share proceeds from sales of the original artwork with the winning artist.

Great chefs, fabulous wineries, celebrities, locals and tourists gather for a wide variety of events offered during the Scottsdale Culinary Festival. The Festival ranges from sophisticated gourmet specialty dinners to the famous Great Arizona Picnic.
The Scottsdale League for the Arts (SLA) contributes to several Valley organizations, including the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, the Arts in Education Council, and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. SLA is a non-profit volunteer organization made up of concerned and caring individuals who invest their time and effort to raise funds for the arts and art education programs.
SLA is looking for positive and motivated people to volunteer at the Scottsdale Culinary Festival. To find out more information on becoming a volunteer please call Scottsdale League for the Arts at (480) 945-7193. Memberships are also available for $135 annually. This is a fun way to become involved in your community and expand your knowledge in the art and culinary fields.# # #
