SCOTTSDALE
LEAGUE FOR THE ARTS
TOUCHES THE LIVES OF MANY VALLEY CHARITIES
SCOTTSDALE,
AZ (November 12, 2004)
The Scottsdale League for the Arts awarded more than $195,000 through
the League's 2004 grants program to 31 Valley non-profit organizations.
Since 1992 the League has contributed more than $1.4 million to support
art and art education in the Valley.
In only its third year, the League's grant program received more than
45 applications for consideration. The program was designed to award
funds on a competitive basis to any bona fide Arizona non-profit agency
providing direct services or activities related to the arts and art
education.

Scottsdale League
for the Arts (SLA) is a non-profit (501(c)3) charitable organization
that raises funds for arts and art education programs throughout Arizona.
Since 1992 the League
has contributed more than $1.4 million to numerous organizations benefiting
children including The Phoenix Symphony, Scottsdale Center for the Arts,
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Arts in Education Council, Desert
Bells International, and Phoenix Boys Choir.
