The
Only Game In Town
An Elegant Progressive Dinner Was The Name Of The Game
At Le Tour Culinaire
(Scottsdale,
AZ) April 26, 2004 On
Saturday, April 17, 2004 A ticket to ride was the only thing needed
to partake in the elegant starlit evening progressive dinner that was
Le Tour Culinaire , featuring some of the Valleys most
prominent restaurants. Guests in crisp tuxedos and chic gowns boarded
private coaches and indulged in a three-course meal with each course served
at a different one of the restaurants. Guests rubbed elbows with vintners
who unveiled their private reserves for this lavish evening.
A winemaker accompanied each coach and paired wines with each course
making a unique interactive experience for the participants, says
Chairperson Terry Spagnola. The evening began at 5:30 pm with a spectacular
reception at the Westin Kierland and ended back there with dessert and
dancing.
Chefs pulled out all the stops for guests who sampled creations from an
impressive line-up of the Valleys best restaurants including The
Roaring Fork, La Hacienda, The Grill, Las Ventanas and the Marquesa of
the Fairmont Princess Resort, Different Pointe of View, Flemings,
elements, Furio, Francos Italian Caffé, Acacia of the Four
Seasons, Mosaic, Eddie Vs, Elevé, and Mezcal.
If you missed out, get your group together now as the 2005 Le Tour
Culinaire promises to be equally as glamorous and even a little
more outrageous than the last.
