Scottsdale League for the Arts Hosts a SMoCA-n Social:
Upcoming Social to Support the Arts and Art Education
Tuesday, October 26th at 5:30 pm

WHO: Community Members who are interested in learning about the Scottsdale League for the Arts (SLA) while enjoying great food and fine art.

WHAT: A social to meet and greet members of SLA and learn how to support local arts and art education programs. The event will feature hors d'oeuvres, beverages and a private tour of three distinct exhibits at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA): Josef Albers: Seeing in Color; Samuel Mockbee and the Rural Studio: Community Architecture; and Let's Walk West: Brad Kahlhamer.

The event will begin with a reception at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at SMoCA, one of SLA's 2004 grant recipients. The private tour will begin at 6:00 pm. The cover is $10 for guests and $5 for League members. The event is a great chance for interested community members to learn more about the League's major fundraiser, the renowned Scottsdale Culinary Festival, and their mission to support the arts and art education.
