Were Awakened At Wine Country Brunch
Guests Bid, Tasted and Savored Fantastic Food, Wine and Auction
Items Sunday, April 18, 2004
(Scottsdale,
AZ) April 22, 2004 On Sunday, April 18th guests
of The Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center left their worries
behind for a relaxing afternoon of leisure, luxury, and what could best
be described as the ultimate mid-day dining extravaganza -- the Scottsdale
Culinary Festival Wine Country Brunch. Chef Ray Anderson
played host to this palate-pleasing extravaganza and silent auction,
preparing a tempting array of food. Taste buds were titillated and tummies
left full as guests sampled savory crepes, succulent seafood, enjoyed
custom creations from the omelet stations and succulent meats from the
carving stations finishing with a lavish selection of desserts along
with wines carefully chosen to compliment the food.
Guests at Wine Country Brunch sipped and savored their
way through vintages from Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery, Robert Mondavi,
Van Der Heyden Vineyards and Tobin James to name a few. Guests also
had the opportunity to meet winemakers and discuss the perfect pairings
of food and wine. This enticing celebration of food and wine was one
brunch not to be missed.
