The Scottsdale League for the Arts (SLA) awarded more than $325,500 through the League’s 2006 grants program to 35 Valley non-profit organizations. The SLA sponsors the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, which was held from April 18^th to April 23^rd this year. Since 1992, the League has contributed more than $2 million to support art and art education in the Valley. The program was designed to award funds on a competitive basis to any bona-fide Arizona non-profit agency providing direct services or activities related to the arts and art education. read more ...
