Toast to 25 Year
Participants. January 12. In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the
Scottsdale Culinary Festival, this event was created to thank all past
participants and volunteers who have made the festival what it has become.
It is a salute to all of the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into
the festival.
Evening
with the Authors. March 11. To celebrate the single longest
running culinary festival in the country, we are inaugurating an "Evening
with the Authors". Meet and greet celebrity chefs from around the
nation such as, Jeremiah Tower, Ethan Becker, Douglas Rodriguez and
Robert McGrath at the Five Diamond Marquesa Restaurant in the Fairmont
Scottsdale Princess Resort and Spa. Tickets are $75.
25th
Anniversary Awards Dinner. April 10. This year the "Culinary
Student Competition Awards Dinner" and the "Hall of Fame Awards
Dinner" have been combined for a spectacular awards dinner honoring
those who have made significant contributions to the culinary profession
in Arizona and showcasing the best culinary students from Culinary Programs
in a head-to-head culinary arts competition. Hyatt Regency at Gainey
Ranch. Tickets are $100.
A
Caterers' Fare April 11. Featuring entertainment and some
of the best caterers in the Valley showcasing their food and spirits.
Tickets are $75 per person and include all food, beverages and entertainment.
LeTour
Culinaire. April 12. This black ties affair is an enchanted
evening featuring a tour of the Valley's finest dining establishments.
Trolleys take guest to three different restaurants paired with an upscale
start/stop location. Dessert and dancing following the restaurant tour,
cost $175.
Great
Arizona Picnic April 12 & 13. Restaurants from around
the valley offer tasting of their menu. 24 bands play throughout the
weekend. This event is geared towards families, with an admission of
$5 per person for those over 12 and up. Attended by over 50,000 people.
Southwest
Festival of Beers. April 12 & 13. A spectacular Beer
Garden featuring more than 200 specialty beers. Admission is $5 per
person (includes souvenir mug).
Cooks and Corks.
April 12 and 13. Guests taste and sip their way through a "Wonderful
Gourmet World of Food and Wine" while enjoying demonstrations by
some of the Valley's best celebrity chefs. Cooking demos and classes
are offered and the tickets are $45 per person.
Wine Country
Brunch. April 13. Guests have the unique opportunity to meet
winemakers and experience award-winning food and wine combinations from
ten wineries. Enjoy the food of this upscale brunch and participate
in the silent auction. Scottsdale Four Seasons Resort. Tickets are $55.
Best of the Fest
April 13. Eight of the top chefs paired with eight of the top wineries.
Each chef works with the winery to create a five-course dinner for two
tables, Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch. Tickets are $150.
